My kind of music

I like to listen to Finnish music for example Kaija Koo, Lauri Tähkä and Jannika B because I like their songs’ melodies and lyrics. I don’t know which genre my favorite music belongs to. I think it’s maybe pop, but I’m not sure. Usually I listen to music from the radio and the channel is often Suomipop. In Some songs the melody or rhythm are important, but usually the lyrics are the most important. I don’t understand English song lyrics, and that’s why I listen to Finnish music. Touching lyrics and melodies make a song good. I play the piano sometimes, but I don’t play it very well. Music is important to me because it makes me happy if I am very sad and anyway it makes me feel good.

The song tells about a girl who wants a boy for herself because she knows that the boy’s current girlfriend isn’t good for him. The song is sad at first but in the end the boy’s realizes that the girl is the one that he wants. I chose this song because I like its lyrics and melody, and I heard this song when I met my far away living friends for the first time.
